Shipping & Intermodal and Oil & Gas Services
Persbericht -NIBC has decided to concentrate its global Shipping & Intermodal and Oil & Gas Services activities in its office in The Hague, following a rationalisation of the bank's operations in these sectors abroad. Up to now, Shipping and Oil & Gas clients in Europe and the Americas were already served from the office in The Hague. Now, Asian clients will be served from its Dutch office as well.
CEO Jeroen Drost comments: "Given the size and strategy of the bank, combined with the increased cost of network branches, we have reviewed our operations abroad. Given the fact that clients in the sectors Shipping & Intermodal and Oil & Gas Services mainly operate globally, we decided to concentrate these activities in The Hague. This will add to the efficiency of the bank and will therefore also favour our clients. We will continue to serve our clients with all our sector and financial expertise as they have grown accustomed to."
