Sale Electrawinds Biostoom completed

On 5 February 2014 Bionerga reached an agreement with Electrawinds NV to take over the shares in Electrawinds Biostoom. Bionerga will become majority shareholder, with NIBC European Infrastructure Fund I (NEIF) increasing their interest.

The Biostoom plant has been operating since 2009 and is producing green electricity corresponding to the electricity use of some 43.000 households. The plant is state of the art and is in compliance with all Belgian and European environmental standards.
