Persbericht -

Rob ten Heggeler, Chief Client Officer and member of the Managing Board of NIBC, has decided to leave NIBC per 31 December 2016. After having worked with the bank for over 7 years Rob will join BB Investments as Managing Director. BB Investments is a new investment company which he will establish together with Ben Mandemakers, a longstanding client of NIBC. Rob will remain closely involved with NIBC as Senior Advisor to the Managing Board. Details of Rob’s succession will follow in due course.

Wim van den Goorbergh, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NIBC:

“I speak for the entire Supervisory Board when I say we regret to see Rob leave NIBC. He joined us in August 2009, which was undoubtedly a difficult period. With commitment and perseverance he has led Corporate Banking towards a solid operating division of NIBC. We thank Rob for his hard work and his extensive experience. He leaves NIBC and the Corporate Bank well positioned for the future.”

Paulus de Wilt, Chief Executive Officer of NIBC:

“In recent years we were able to grow the business and the profitability. Rob has been very successful in building our client base and in supporting the clients. His sincere commitment to the ‘client first’ motto is an example for many, both internally and externally. So we are very pleased Rob will remain with us in the role of Senior Advisor. We will miss his dedication in the Managing Board, but we also know that this new challenge fits him very well. We wish him every success. “
