NIBC co-arranges for Heijmans redevelopment

NIBC’s CRE has successfully closed a EUR 21m construction facility, with FGH Bank, for Dutch construction firm Heijmans. The facility enables Heijmans to finance part of the costs related to the redevelopment of outdated buildings formerly owned by the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Internal affairs into modern space to be occupied by the University of Leiden. Rabobank Pension Fund will acquire the asset upon completion.

The asset is located at the Wijnhaven area in the city centre of The Hague. The project includes the transformation of outdated office space into a modern complex, combining housing for the University of Leiden, additional office and retail space and an apartment tower.
